Job summary

Solaris Energy Infrastructure, Inc. in Houston seeks a Senior Manager, Technical Accounting to lead complex US GAAP analyses, acquisitions, and contract accounting. You will craft technical memos and partner with finance, commercial, and operations teams on ASC 805/842/606 matters.

Ideal candidates bring Big 4 training, CPA, and deep experience applying accounting guidance to energy and capital-intensive contexts. Strong communication and collaboration are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Active CPA license required.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience; Big 4 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex transactions into clear accounting conclusions under US GAAP.
• Research technical accounting and draft position papers for non-routine transactions.
• Support ASC 805, ASC 842, ASC 606, ASC 810, ASC 718, ASC 280 analyses.
• Collaborate with deal teams on due diligence and purchase price allocation.
• Assist SEC reporting and prepare pro-forma financial statements for acquisitions.
