Job summary

Pattern Energy seeks a Senior Manager, Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting to lead US GAAP accounting, SEC and statutory reporting, and policy development. You will partner with Corporate Accounting, FP&A, Legal, Treasury, Tax, and external auditors to ensure accurate financial reporting and strong controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA designation required.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge including ASC 805, ASC 810, ASC 718, ASC 842, ASC 815, ASC 323, ASC 410.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical accounting analyses and position papers for acquisitions, project financings, tax equity, complex contracts, debt instruments, derivatives, and equity transactions.
• Oversee preparation and review of audited financial statements and disclosures.
• Coordinate external audits and manage multiple engagements across teams.
• Develop and coach a ~6-person team to high performance and integrity.
• Translate technical results into actionable business insights for leadership.
