Job summary

SunStrong Management is seeking a Senior Manager, Technical Accounting to lead complex accounting analysis and policy development across the organization. This role reports to the Director of Technical Accounting and provides authoritative technical guidance on complex transactions, ensuring documentation and scalability as the company grows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with technical focus.
• CPA required; Big Four experience preferred.
• Experience with IPO readiness and public-company reporting.
• Deep experience with securitizations, consolidation and complex financing structures.
• Experience with tax equity structures in renewable energy.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting considerations.
• Bachelor's in Accounting; Master's preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex accounting analysis and policy development.
• Interpret and implement ASC 606, ASC 842, and consolidation requirements.
• Support securitizations and structured financings.
• Lead purchase price accounting and post-acquisition integration.
• Collaborate with Tax, Asset Management and Legal on tax equity structures.
• Prepare technical accounting memos and support audit reviews.
• Partner with Financial Reporting on disclosures and judgments.
• Support IPO readiness and external audit liaison.
• Mentor and develop team members for rigor and accountability.
• Monitor SEC guidance and industry developments.
