Job summary

Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated (RGA) is seeking a finance professional to lead monthly/quarterly reporting for assigned structures, ensure contractual compliance, and prepare annual financial statements. You will coordinate with pricing, tax, investments, and accounting teams to produce accurate GAAP and statutory results.

The role involves organizing multi-functional project teams, managing retrocession activity, and supporting internal control/audit processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Actuarial Science or equivalent related work experience required.
• Master’s degree in Arts/Sciences (MA/MS) CPA preferred.
• 5+ years relevant accounting, auditing or actuarial experience with GAAP reporting and general ledger application required.
• 8+ years relevant accounting, auditing or actuarial experience with GAAP reporting and general ledger application preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage existing transactions and relationships with financing partners to ensure effectiveness and viability.
• Coordinate cross-functional project teams to structure and execute reinsurance and financing transactions globally.
• Analyze transactions with pricing/valuation, risk analysis, and legal/tax experts; document follow-up actions.
• Organize project meetings, document follow-ups, and ensure implementation readiness for day one reporting.
• Perform month-end/quarterly/annual financial reporting for Structured Finance transactions, including GL uploads and reconciliations.
• Support internal control and audit processes, maintaining narratives and coordinating audits.
• Coordinate special projects and balance priorities to deliverables.
