Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a Senior Manager in Technology Development to advance diagnostics and early-stage technology translation to commercialization. You will lead multiple projects, organize opportunities into teams, and report status to leadership while coordinating with Mayo departments and external partners.

This role requires a strong background in business development, licensing, and technology transfer, with excellent communication and project management skills to drive impactful

Qualifications

• Must have the ability to perform successfully in business development/technology commercialization.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse people.
• Requires strong project management and time management skills; entrepreneurial/intrapreneurial qualities.
• Must possess strong analytical skills and be resourceful; able to work independently on assigned projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple projects or major portions of large projects, deals, and opportunities within the department.
• Organize opportunities into appropriate work teams and assign staff to teams.
• Communicate/report project status to department leadership and represent the department in meetings with Mayo clinicians, leadership, or external entities.
• Manage workflows and resources to achieve desired project outcomes.

Education

Master’s degree in business/science/related field

Bachelor’s degree

Degree-equivalency experience (4 years for BA, 2 for MS/advanced)

Five years experience in technology licensing
