Job summary

Houchens Food Group is seeking a Store Manager to oversee the complete day-to-day operation of the store in the United States. You will be responsible for maximizing sales and profitability while maintaining optimal stock levels and merchandising, and ensuring excellent customer experiences.

The role requires leadership to grow the management team and store associates, with a focus on training, coaching and adherence to company standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delegate daily workload among associates to meet merchandising and visual presentation standards.
• Hire, train and develop retail staff with goals for growth and success; provide ongoing feedback.
• Review store evaluations with management to identify opportunities and correct issues with urgency.
• Coordinate supervision of staff to meet sales goals and ensure procedures are followed.
• Conduct associate evaluations per standards to provide feedback, praise and growth.
• Develop and implement in-store marketing, promotions and seasonal merchandising according to store needs.
• Complete merchandising updates according to company standards and collaborate with vendors on plan-o-grams.
• Forecast scheduling needs to meet demand and create work schedules; monitor payroll within budgets.
• Review staffing strengths with HR/Ops prior to additions or terminations.
• Other tasks as directed by supervision.
