Job summary

Hendall Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager of Statistical Analysis and Quality Control to lead a team on a DHHS-supported project.

You will oversee statistical analyses, data processing, QC reviews, and dissemination of analytic products with emphasis on accuracy and reproducibility. The role combines hands-on analysis with senior-level oversight, guiding staff, resolving data quality issues, and ensuring analytic outputs meet established standards.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in statistics, biostatistics, epidemiology, public health, or related field.
• At least 10 years analyzing large datasets with QC and reporting responsibility.
• 5+ years analyzing behavioral health data and related administrative/survey data.
• Experience applying population statistics and advanced methods (regression, ANOVA, SEM, etc.).
• 8+ years using SAS with SAS/STAT; familiarity with R, Python, STATA, and ML.
• Senior-level leadership overseeing analysts, guiding tasks, and ensuring release readiness.
• Strong data management, QC, and reporting skills; attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to translate complex findings.

Responsibilities

• Lead statistical analyses, QC, and data processing across a project team.
• Provide senior technical leadership and independent validation of analyses.
• Guide statisticians and analysts; manage task priorities and deadlines.
• Lead analyses of large administrative and survey datasets for reporting.
• Use AI-enabled analytics to identify patterns and validate model outputs.
• Oversee QC reviews of data files, programs, tables, and figures for release.
• Develop and improve QC procedures and documentation for analyses.
• Review SAS programs; use R/Python/STATA for data manipulation and visualization.
• Translate complex findings into actionable information for technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Ensure reproducibility and publication-ready dissemination products.
