Job summary

DLH is seeking a Lead Data Manager/SAS Programmer to lead data management and statistical programming for federally funded clinical research and epidemiologic studies. You will guide data workflows, design architectures, and oversee data quality across the full data lifecycle.

You will mentor a multidisciplinary team and partner with investigators, epidemiologists, and operations staff to deliver scalable, reproducible data solutions with emphasis on quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Advanced SAS programming including DATA/PROC steps, macros, and automation.
• Experience with data management for health research and clinical studies.
• Leadership and mentoring of data teams is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical leadership for data management and programming in clinical studies.
• Design data strategies, architecture, and validation rules for study data.
• Develop SAS solutions for cleaning transforming and integrating data.
• Establish data quality, validation, QC and reconciliation processes.
• Mentor data management staff and coordinate with investigators and statisticians.
