Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a pricing, policy and compliance professional to lead state price transparency reporting, monitor regulatory changes, and partner with Policy and Legal to turn requirements into actionable processes.

You will establish governance, coordinate inputs across teams and vendors, and support regulatory implementation while leveraging automation and data-driven approaches to improve accuracy and timeliness.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 5+ years pricing/policy/compliance experience in pharma (or 3+ years post MBA).
  • Experience managing complex, deadline-driven reporting/compliance processes.
  • Ability to translate regulatory and business requirements into practical processes.
  • Proven track record in standardizing and scaling operations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication with attention to detail.

Job description

Responsibilities
  • Lead preparation, review, validation, approval, and timely submission of state price transparency reports with external vendors and internal data owners.
  • Monitor pricing and product events (e.g., WAC changes, new product launches); determine reporting obligations, required data, disclosures, and deadlines.
  • Maintain a repository of state requirements; partner with Policy and Legal to convert interpretations into reporting rules, processes, and documentation.
  • Establish/maintain governance, controls, approval procedures, and documentation standards to support data integrity and audit readiness.
  • Coordinate inputs across teams and vendors; resolve data/process gaps; serve as escalation point for complex issues.
  • Support State Government Affairs and Policy on emerging legislation and regulatory implementation implications.
  • Partner across Policy, Legal, Commercial, Digital, and others to implement disclosures across materials, platforms, and field-facing activities.
  • With the product owner, translate needs into requirements; coordinate testing/implementation; modernize via standardization, improved vendor workflows, and responsible use of technology/automation/AI.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 5+ years relevant experience in pricing, policy, compliance, operations, or related pharma field (or 3+ years after MBA/advanced degree).
  • Experience managing complex, deadline-driven reporting/compliance processes.
  • Ability to translate regulatory/policy/business requirements into practical processes, controls, and deliverables.
  • Track record identifying process gaps and standardizing/scaling ways of working.
  • Strong written/verbal communication; explains requirements, risks, issues, and next steps.
  • Attention to detail, judgment, accountability, ethical/compliant conduct.

Preferred:

  • Advanced degree (MBA/MPH/MS) and/or direct pharmaceutical state price transparency experience.
  • Familiarity with state drug-pricing topics (e.g., WAC/new product reporting, affordability boards, upper payment limits, public-interest reporting).
  • Experience with government pricing, regulatory operations, State Government Affairs, pricing operations.
  • Vendor/platform experience (requirements, UAT, implementation).
  • Responsible use of automation/generative AI/digital tools.
