Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Business Controls & Governance to strengthen the control environment across Service Operations. You will lead SOX and SOC 1 activities, partner with business teams, and drive governance frameworks that enable risk-aware decision making.

The ideal candidate brings deep risk management, internal controls, and audit support experience, and can translate regulatory requirements into practical, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in governance, compliance, risk management, internal controls, audit, or related disciplines.
• Experience collaborating with process owners, operational leaders, and control environments.
• Strong understanding of risk management principles and internal control frameworks.
• Direct experience supporting or leading SOX and/or SOC 1 activities, including walkthroughs, documentation, testing, and audit coordination.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen governance, risk management, and internal control processes across critical activities.
• Establish and mature governance frameworks, routines, and accountability mechanisms.
• Lead SOX and SOC 1 compliance activities, including governance, monitoring, and audit support.
• Perform risk assessments and identify emerging operational, regulatory, and compliance risks.
