Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Manager, Business Controls & Governance to strengthen the control framework across Service Operations. You will lead governance activities, oversee SOX and SOC 1 compliance, and partner with operational teams to manage risk in critical processes.

The role requires deep risk management, internal controls expertise, and the ability to translate complex requirements into scalable solutions while collaborating with Internal Audit, Finance, Legal, and Technology teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in governance, compliance, risk management, internal controls, or related disciplines.
• Experience supporting or leading SOX/SOC1 control activities and audit coordination.
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence across multiple levels.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen governance, risk management, and internal control processes across critical activities.
• Lead SOX and SOC1 governance, monitoring, documentation, certification, and audit support.
• Develop executive status reports, dashboards, and narratives for leadership.
• Advise on control design, operating effectiveness, and remediation of deficiencies.
• Partner with stakeholders to standardize processes and reduce unnecessary burden.
