Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Enterprise Solutions Architect to design and oversee the deployment of enterprise technology solutions from requirements to production. You will drive solution development, document designs, and ensure architectural integrity throughout the lifecycle.

You will manage cross-functional teams, review core documentation, and advise on public and private cloud options based on risk and business needs. Travel across the U.S. may be required to support engagements.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in CS, Engineering, Math, Business, IT, or related field with 3 years IT experience; or Bachelor’s + 6 years post-baccalaureate.
• 1 year IT experience with SAP ECC, SAP CRM, and Azure, OR Pega, Java, and JavaScript.
• Experience may be concurrent with other qualifications.
• Willingness to travel within the U.S. as required.

Job description

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee the design, development, and implementation of enterprise technology solutions from requirements analysis through production deployment
• Drive solution development and document solution designs while ensuring architectural practices throughout the solution lifecycle
• Manage solution design activities, evaluate technical approaches, and resolve architectural issues
• Collaborate with project, delivery, and engagement management teams to ensure timely and effective system implementation
• Review and approve documentation and oversee adherence to architectural principles
• Provide managerial oversight and direction to teams across all phases of the system lifecycle
• Advise internal and external stakeholders on public and private cloud technology options based on business requirements, risk, and operational impact
• Serve as the primary point of accountability for solution delivery, stakeholder communication, and alignment with organizational objectives

Requirements

• Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Math, Business, Information Technology, or a related field, plus three (3) years of software development, consulting, or business analysis experience in IT field; alternatively, Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in one of these fields plus six (6) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience
• One (1) year of IT technical work experience using either SAP ECC, SAP CRM, and Azure, or Pega, Java, and JavaScript
• All experience may be acquired concurrently
• Travel and relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. required based on business needs
• Travel not to exceed 5% per year
• International travel not required
