Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned IT Project Manager to oversee the end-to-end delivery of customized business systems across multiple initiatives. You will coordinate onshore and offshore teams, manage timelines, and ensure quality standards for successful project outcomes.

Ideal candidates will have a Master’s degree in a related field or a Bachelor’s with extensive experience, plus hands-on SAP/Oracle tool proficiency and strong stakeholder communication skills.

Qualifications

• Requires master’s degree in a related field plus 3 years IT project management experience; or bachelor’s degree plus 6 years’ progressive experience.
• At least 1 year of IT project management experience.
• Travel to various locations across the U.S. up to 5% annually; international travel not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation of customized business systems software across multiple projects.
• Plan and oversee project execution from scope to deliverables throughout full lifecycle.
• Direct and coordinate onshore/offshore teams, assign work, set priorities, and monitor performance.
• Establish SLAs, quality standards, and delivery schedules.
• Maintain client communications and prepare status reports for stakeholders and senior management.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on risk management, budgeting, and QA.
• Ensure successful, timely, and compliant project delivery.

Job description

• Manage the analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation of customized business systems software applications across multiple projects
• Plan and oversee project execution throughout the full project life cycle, including scope, timelines, and deliverables
• Direct and coordinate daily operations of onshore and offshore teams by assigning work, setting priorities, and monitoring performance
• Establish service level agreements, quality standards, and delivery schedules
• Maintain ongoing client communications and prepare status reports for stakeholders and senior management
• Collaborate with senior leadership on risk management, budgeting, and quality assurance
• Ensure successful, timely, and compliant project delivery

Requirements

• Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Math, Business, Information Technology, or a related field, plus three (3) years of software development, consulting, or business analysis experience in IT field; alternatively, Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in one of those fields plus six (6) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience
• One (1) year of IT project management work experience
• Experience using one of the following skill sets: SAP ECC, SAP S/4 HANA, and SAP Solution Manager (SolMan); SAP CMR, SAP S/4HANA BRIM, and SAP S/4HANA Fiori; or Oracle, WebLogic, and problem management with issue resolution and root cause analysis
• Travel and relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. required based on business needs
• Travel not to exceed 5% per year
• International travel not required
