Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead complex SAP implementations and ongoing support across multiple lifecycle projects. You will manage client relationships, engage stakeholders, and drive value realization through strategic planning and disciplined governance.

• Bachelor's degree required.

• Experience on 3+ full lifecycle SAP projects (SAP implementation, upgrades, or support).
• Knowledge of SAP implementation methodologies.
• Leadership to direct consulting teams and advise clients on strategy, direction, and risk.
• Experience creating RFPs and SOWs, project/resource plans, and cost estimates.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted customer relationships, develop service plans, and drive SAP adoption and business transformation.
• Support contract extensions and renewals, ensure delivered value is visible to customers, and identify new sales opportunities.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders to develop and implement strategic plans optimizing SAP investment and measurable business value.
• Identify and address risks; own critical-issue escalation management.
• Collaborate with Reply project managers on project delivery, scope, cost, and resourcing.
• Provide oversight and support to project managers, consulting teams, and client teams, including onsite visits.
• Lead, motivate, and empower consulting teams while evaluating performance and developing skills.
• Partner with Sales and Marketing on prospect engagement, RFP processes, client onboarding, content creation, and cost estimates.
• Build relationships with client decision-makers and participate in steering committees and PMO activities.

• Support contract extensions and renewals, ensure delivered value is visible to customers, and identify new sales opportunities
• Collaborate with client stakeholders to develop and implement strategic plans optimizing SAP investment and measurable business value
• Identify and address functional, technical, staffing, and commercial risks; own critical-issue escalation management
• Collaborate with Reply project managers on project delivery, scope, cost, and resourcing management
• Provide oversight, guidance, and support to project managers, consulting teams, and client teams, including regular onsite visits
• Lead, motivate, and empower consulting teams while evaluating performance and developing skills
• Partner with Sales and Marketing on prospect engagement, RFP processes, client onboarding, content creation, project scope, resourcing plans, and cost estimates
• Build relationships with client decision-makers and participate in steering committees and PMO activities through regular onsite visits
• Partner with Sales and Marketing to develop client success stories, films, and conference appearances

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Travel up to 50%
• 7 years of SAP experience
• Experience in a project management role
• Experience on 3+ full lifecycle projects in SAP implementation, SAP release upgrades and/or ongoing support of SAP Business Suite products (S/4HANA, CRM, BI, SCM, APO, SRM, SAP Solution Manager)
• Practical experience in applying SAP implementation methodologies
• Leadership skills to direct the consulting team and advise clients on strategy, direction, and risk
• Experience creating RFP and statement of work content, project and resource plans, cost estimates, and assumptions lists in a client-facing role
• Preferred: Specific knowledge in Process, Chemicals, Manufacturing, or Distribution industries
• Preferred: Knowledge or experience deploying SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud
• Preferred: Implementation experience in non-ERP SAP Cloud environments
