Job summary

Form Energy is hiring a Manager, Site Reliability Engineer to lead the operations function for reliability, availability, and supportability of our energy storage fleet. You will own fleet monitoring, incident response, triage, escalation, and operational readiness for new deployments, scaling through automation and cross-functional collaboration.

The role requires extensive experience in production operations, strong incident management skills, and a track record of scaling automated processes.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience leading complex production, industrial, cyber-physical systems.
• Proven incident response, troubleshooting, and root-cause investigation.
• Experience leading SRE/DevOps in highly automated environments.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in engineering or CS.

Responsibilities

• Lead Product Operations Assurance with DevOps-first principles for fleet monitoring, incident response, field triage, escalation, and production support.
• Build a highly automated operating model to support a growing deployed fleet through automation and tooling.
• Establish incident management processes including severity, escalation, and post-incident reviews.
• Coordinate cross-functional engineering response across software, firmware, controls, networking, hardware, and site infra.
• Develop diagnostic playbooks, troubleshooting procedures, and operational tooling for quicker first-line response.
• Partner with Data, Analytics, and Cloud Applications teams to define telemetry, dashboards, alerts, and workflows.
• Define operational readiness requirements for new product releases and deployments.
• Analyze incidents to identify recurring failure modes and drive reliability improvements.
• Establish and track metrics such as fleet availability and incident metrics.
• Build the team, on-call model, and automation to scale fleet operations.
