Job summary

Form Energy is hiring a Manager, Site Reliability Engineer to lead the operational function responsible for reliability, availability, and supportability of our deployed energy storage systems. You’ll own fleet monitoring, incident response, field triage, and enable scalable operations as we grow to a commercial fleet.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in production, industrial, energy or cyber-physical systems with leadership experience.
• Experience leading SRE/DevOps teams in highly automated environments.
• Strong ability to diagnose cross-domain issues (software, firmware, hardware).

Responsibilities

• Lead Product Operations Assurance with a DevOps-first approach to fleet monitoring, incident response, field triage, engineering escalation, and production support.
• Build a highly automated operating model to support a rapidly growing deployed fleet.
• Establish incident management processes, including severity definitions and post-incident reviews.
• Coordinate cross-functional engineering response across software, firmware, controls, networking, hardware and site infrastructure.
• Develop diagnostic playbooks and operational tooling to improve first-line response.
• Partner with Data, Analytics, and Cloud Applications teams to define telemetry, dashboards, alerts, and workflows.
• Define operational readiness for new product releases and deployments.
• Analyze incidents and fleet data to identify recurring failure modes and drive improvements.
• Establish and track metrics like fleet availability and incident frequency.
