Job summary

IDEAYA Biosciences in South San Francisco is seeking a Senior Manager of SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting to lead external reporting, technical accounting, and SOX compliance for a fast-growing biotech company. You will manage Form 10-K/10-Q filings, coordinate with auditors, and drive process improvements in financial reporting and disclosures across the organization.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong GAAP knowledge, and collaboration with Legal, Tax, and FP&A to ensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• CPA license required.
• Experience with SEC filings and GAAP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end preparation, review, and filing of Forms 10-K and 10-Q, and support other SEC filings.
• Oversee equity accounting and reporting, including stock-based compensation and EPS calculations.
• Coordinate with external auditors and manage SOX controls and disclosures.
• Develop and maintain scalable reporting processes and cross-functional collaboration.
