Job summary

Iambic Therapeutics, Inc is seeking an Associate Director of SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting to lead external financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SEC rules.

Hybrid role based in San Diego with responsibility for technical accounting, SOX design and company-wide disclosure controls, partnering with senior finance leaders. The role requires extensive SEC experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and an ability to advise on complex transactions, licensing and collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Active CPA license.
• Extensive SEC reporting and SOX experience in public company context.

Responsibilities

• Lead SEC reporting strategy and filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, proxy).
• Own external reporting components: MS&A, footnotes, disclosures, XBRL tagging.
• Manage quarterly/annual reporting calendar; coordinate inputs from functions.
• Collaborate with Legal, FP&A, HR for disclosures and timely data.
• Prepare materials for Audit Committee and Board on financial reporting.
