Job summary

Neurocrine Biosciences in San Diego, CA, is seeking an experienced SEC Reporting Manager to lead external financial reporting, including Forms 10-Q and 10-K filings, and to manage Workiva and XBRL processes.

You will coordinate cross-functional inputs, ensure GAAP compliance, support SOX 404, and oversee stock-based compensation disclosures, with a strong emphasis on controls and timely deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA strongly preferred.
• 6+ years of applicable accounting and financial reporting experience, including public-company SEC reporting.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements; experience with 10-Q/10-K.
• Experience with stock-based compensation accounting under ASC 718 and SOX 404 controls.
• Hands-on Workiva and XBRL experience; ability to lead cross-functional workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation and coordination of quarterly and annual SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K) and related disclosures.
• Manage external reporting calendar, timelines, and cross-functional inputs.
• Administer Workiva; oversee XBRL tagging, validation, and filing readiness.
• Oversee stock-based compensation disclosures and related tie-outs; liaise with HR and Payroll.
• Support SOX 404 controls and interact with internal/external auditors on procedures.
