Etsy, Inc. seeks a Senior Manager, Scaled Detection & Enforcement, Trust & Safety to lead a distributed team mitigating violative content on the marketplace. You will drive proactive detection strategies in collaboration with Policy, Product, Engineering, and Analytics teams.

You will identify abuse trends, optimize labeling operations, and ensure robust risk assessment for new product features. Expect to manage sensitive content and maintain strong performance metrics across geographies.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in scaled policy enforcement, ML Ops, labeling, or content abuse detection.
• 3+ years of team management; ability to mentor high performing teams.
• Proven problem-solving, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Strong technical fluency (SQL, AI prompting) and excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a distributed team responsible for detecting and removing policy-violating content.
• Shape and drive proactive abuse mitigation strategy, labeling operations, and feedback loops.
• Collaborate with Policy, Product, Engineering, Vendor Ops, and Analytics partners.
• Identify abuse trends, investigate quickly, and implement scalable mitigations.
• Analyze root causes and define corrective actions; address high-stakes issues including weekends.
• Manage sensitive content exposure and improve operational performance metrics.
