Job summary

HD Supply is seeking a seasoned Learning & Development leader to drive sales-focused learning initiatives. The role analyzes organizational needs, translates data into actionable insights, and partners with business leaders to close capability gaps with measurable programs.

You will design and deliver training strategies, supervise specialists, and mentor teams to ensure programs align with business priorities and deliver tangible outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in sales learning delivery and meeting facilitation using adult learning methods (classroom, virtual, eLearning, ADDIE).
• 2+ years leading a team of learning and development professionals.
• 3+ years of selling experience (inside sales preferred).
• Experience delivering content to varied audiences from executive to individual contributor in leadership, business, and professional skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs task and content analysis with subject matter experts to determine training content and deliverables.
• Conduct training needs analysis, curriculum design, objectives, instructional strategies, scope, timing, resources and constraints analysis.
• Supports the implementation of learning standards and processes by coordinating with internal resources and applying established practices for assessment, design, delivery and evaluation.
• Conducts needs assessments to identify skill or knowledge gaps and helps define learning objectives, instructional approaches, scope and resource requirements to design and deliver effective programs.
• Trains, supervises, and mentors specialists and/or contractors.
