Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated seeks a Manager of Development and Project Entitlements to drive retail development projects across the continental United States. This senior role requires 15+ years in retail/construction, with deep entitlement and permitting expertise.

You will lead client service and strategic coordination among landlords, developers, architects, engineers, and internal teams to accelerate approvals and optimize project timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or Business.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in civil engineering, architecture or real estate development.
• Strong knowledge of zoning laws, land use regulations and entitlement processes.
• Experience managing projects from lease negotiation to entitlement and close-out.
• Proficiency in Excel and scheduling software (MS Project or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional client service through technical expertise and relationship management.
• Guide entitlement processes from inception through permit authorization and utility provisioning.
• Develop and refine tracking mechanisms; establish KPIs for external consultants.
• Provide expert consultation on zoning, environmental entitlements, and utility acquisition.
• Foster collaboration between transaction, design, and construction teams.
