Job summary

Invenergy, North America’s largest privately held developer, owner, and operator of power infrastructure, is seeking a Senior Manager of Renewable Development to manage utility-scale wind, solar and storage projects in the upper Midwest.

This role leads development activities through all stages, partners with staff and land agents, and travels to MN, SD, ND, and IL, to coordinate landowner communications and permit efforts while aligning with Invenergy’s long‑term strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 8+ years of renewable energy experience.
• Ability to manage wind/solar development processes.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Manage development of wind, solar and storage projects in the United States.
• Lead development activities across early, mid, and late project stages.
• Secure permits and negotiate leases, easements, and land agreements.
• Coordinate interconnection activities and align with company strategy.
• Oversee budgeting and scheduling, coordinating internal and external support.
