Job summary

TerraPower, a Bellevue, WA-based nuclear technology company, seeks a Senior Manager for the Supplied Equipment Group within the Natrium reactor program. The role leads the Reactor Components group, ensuring safe, timely delivery of major reactor equipment and fuel logistics, while coordinating with engineering, finance, legal, procurement and quality teams.

The position requires a technical engineering degree and 10+ years in supplier management, plus 3+ years of people leadership.

Qualifications

• Technical degree in mechanical, electrical, nuclear, systems or civil engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in supplier management and interface.
• 3+ years of experience managing people in a related field.
• Experience managing suppliers in design and manufacturing environments.
• Experience with contractual and commercial aspects of customer/supplier relationships.
• Experience with technical interfaces with engineering groups for review and input to supplier activities.
• Knowledge of project controls and related tools and processes.
• Broad understanding of mechanical, electrical, and nuclear engineering disciplines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct line management for Equipment Supply Managers (ESM) in the Reactor Components group.
• Interfaces with Natrium Supply chain to ensure safe and timely delivery of Reactor Head, Vessel, Internals and related components.
• Oversee fuel supply logistics delivery in coordination with Fuel Supply & Development.
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure cost, schedule, quality and safety metrics are met.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Finance, Legal, Procurement, Quality and Facilities to ensure procedures and processes are followed.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to ESMs.
• Ensure adherence to project management tools for cost, schedule, submittal oversight and resources.
• Collaborate with supplier management to ensure contractual and technical direction are followed.
• Review SOWs and project plans to ensure proper execution and alignment with program objectives.
• Oversee supplier selection activities.
• Maintain awareness of supplier capabilities and organizational changes to provide feedback to Natrium.
