Job summary

First Merchants Bank is seeking an ERM RCSA Strategy & Governance Senior Manager to lead, implement, and oversee the Enterprise Risk Management program with a primary focus on the design, execution, and ongoing effectiveness of the RCSA program. You will develop RCSA governance, benchmark against regulatory guidance, coordinate with Lines 1–3, and report to executive management and the board.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, management, law or related field.
• 8+ years in banking/financial services, with 5+ years in ERM/operational risk/compliance/audit.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with GRC platforms and data visualization.
• Proven experience presenting to Executive Management and Risk Committees.
• Experience with GRC platforms (Archer, MetricStream, ServiceNow GRC).

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain the RCSA program and governance documentation.
• Oversee design, maturity, and effectiveness of RCSA with benchmarking and audits.
• Manage end-to-end RCSA process with planning, execution, QA, and escalation.
• Aggregate and report RCSA results to Exec Management, Risk Committees and Board.
• Align RCSA outputs with KRI lifecycle and risk appetite.
• Coordinate with Lines 1-3 and integrate with issues management and risk events.
