Job summary

First Merchants seeks an ERM RCSA Strategy & Governance Senior Manager to lead the design, execution, and ongoing effectiveness of the RCSA program. You will provide independent risk oversight, guide policy development, and facilitate credible challenge to promote risk-informed decisions at executive and board levels.

You will manage RCSA governance, integrate with KRI processes, and oversee reporting, issue management, and governance committee activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, management, law or related field of study.
• Minimum 8 years in banking/financial services with at least 5 years in ERM, operational risk, compliance, audit or related risk discipline.
• Experience with GRC platforms (Archer, MetricStream, ServiceNow GRC, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain key elements of an effective RCSA program, including governance documentation and scoring criteria.
• Oversee end-to-end RCSA process: planning, execution, QA, challenge and remediation tracking.
• Aggregate and report RCSA results to Executive Management, Risk Committees and the Board.
