Job summary

OneEnergy Renewables is seeking a Senior Manager, Project Finance to turn our development pipeline into operating solar and storage assets. You will own financial models, structure debt and tax equity, and collaborate with lenders, tax equity investors, and project investors from screening to close.

This hands-on role requires 6+ years in financial leadership in energy or related fields, advanced modeling, and a proven record closing debt and tax equity transactions under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics, preferably with an MBA or CPA.
• 6+ years in progressively responsible financial leadership roles in renewable energy, infrastructure, real estate development, construction, or related industry, including hands-on experience closing construction and/or term debt and tax equity transactions.
• A track record of closing transactions under tight deadlines and managing diligence with lenders, investors, counsel and advisors.
• Advanced financial modeling expertise.
• Preferred: Experience financing community solar, distributed generation or battery storage projects; tax credit transfers and hybrid tax equity structures.
• Strong written and verbal communication, able to present to all levels of the organization and outside financing parties.
• Experience using generative AI and automation to streamline financial modeling, diligence and reporting with appropriate human review.

Responsibilities

• Initiate, structure, negotiate, and close project financings including construction, warehouse, term debt, and tax equity.
• Develop and maintain relationships with tax equity investors, lenders, project investors, and others.
• Manage due diligence processes.
• Own integrity of project finance models from early screening through investment committee decisions.
• Review and validate project development and delivery expense forecasts and project cash requirements.
• Enhance cross-functional workstreams supporting modeling and approvals.
• Improve systems to increase quality, efficiency, and scalability.
• Prepare materials for project and corporate stakeholders.
