You will drive planning, governance, and portfolio reporting, partnering with cross-functional R&D teams to improve decision-making and readiness across programs.

The role emphasizes turning strategy into operating rhythm, refining processes, and delivering scalable PMO solutions for drug development programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Minimum 6 years of biotech or pharmaceutical industry experience.
• Foundational knowledge of drug development and portfolio management processes.
• Experience supporting cross-functional teams in an R&D environment.
• Strong understanding of PMO practices.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Manager, Program Management Operations to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space.

In this remote role, you will lead the operational cadence that keeps a complex portfolio moving forward across planning, governance, reporting, and resource coordination. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams in an R&D environment to improve decision-making, strengthen PMO discipline, and increase readiness across programs and portfolio reviews. This role is well suited for someone who can turn strategy into operating rhythm, bring structure to executive-level governance, and continuously refine processes that support drug development execution.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $143,800 – $179,800 annually
