As a Senior Manager of Product Development specializing in Cosmetics & OTC Drugs, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development and lifecycle management of our product portfolio. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring our products meet and exceed customer expectations while staying ahead of industry trends and innovations.

What you'll do:

  • Strategic Product Development: Develop, monitor, and manage product specifications throughout the lifecycle, ensuring alignment with merchandising strategies and private brand financial goals.
  • Supplier Partnership: Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers of Cosmetics, OTC Drugs, and Pharmacy items to drive innovation and quality improvements.
  • Innovation and Trends: Benchmark industry trends to identify growth opportunities and enhance product offerings, working with cross-functional teams to implement new strategies.
  • Issue Resolution: Lead root cause analysis for product issues, recommend solutions, and ensure timely resolution to minimize business disruption.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders (e.g., Sourcing, Creative, Regulatory, Merchants) and external partners to develop new products and improve existing ones.
  • Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the Quality team to investigate and resolve member complaints, ensuring product excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Project Management: Lead product development projects from ideation to launch.

What you'll bring:

  • Education & Professional Background: Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or related field with 4–6 years of product development experience.
  • Expertise in Cosmetics and OTC Drugs: Prior experience managing product development projects in these categories is essential.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Strong commitment to understanding and meeting customer needs.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data thoroughly to inform decisions.
  • Innovative Thinking: Proven ability to solve complex challenges and drive improvements.
  • Leadership and Influence: Capable of leading teams, managing stakeholders, and communicating effectively across all levels.
  • Agility and Adaptability: Flexible, with a test-and-learn mentality to pivot strategies based on results and market changes.

The annual salary range is $110,000–$220,000, with additional bonuses based on performance.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Design, or related field plus 4 years’ experience, or 6 years’ experience in relevant areas.Preferred Qualifications: Experience with VBA, SQL, creative design software, financial modeling, project management, manufacturing, or related certifications like PMP, Six Sigma.
