Job summary

Lennar, a leading homebuilder, seeks a Sr. Manager of Operational Excellence to lead standardized, scalable processes across Buy, Build, Sell, and Care.

You will drive continuous improvement, partner with executives, and enable automation to improve customer and associate experiences. You'll map workflows, define SOPs, and coach leaders to sustain standard methods, with a focus on measurable outcomes and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field; Master's preferred.
• 7–10 years of progressive experience in process excellence, consulting, or operations.
• Proven track record of large-scale process transformation and continuous improvement.
• Hands-on process mapping/documentation using Lucid or Visio.
• Strong ability to leverage AI tools to accelerate documentation and analysis.
• Lean Six Sigma/Kaizen training is a plus, not required.
• Strategic thinking, analytical skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proven influence with senior stakeholders in a matrix organization.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, with data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide operational excellence strategy across the homebuilding value chain.
• Map and document processes; create SOPs, quick reference guides, and flow diagrams.
• Develop a single standard method for processes; pilot before scale-up.
• Drive adoption with stakeholders and coach leaders post-handoff.
• Facilitate SMEs groups to design and test new standard processes.
• Lead change management for new processes and tools; address resistance.
• Identify automation opportunities and hand off processes to tech teams.
• Define and track process health metrics to monitor adherence and gaps.
• Conduct root cause analyses and operational reviews to uncover issues.
