Job summary
Kite Pharma (Gilead) is seeking a Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT) Operations & Automation Technology Manager/Senior Manager to lead equipment and automation support for clinical cell therapy manufacturing. You will partner with Manufacturing, Facilities, Quality, Validation, IT, and Process Development to ensure reliable operations and data-integrity compliant processes.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree plus 8+ years in biotech/pharma manufacturing or a related field.
- Master's degree with 6+ years experience, or PhD/PharmD with relevant outcomes.
- Experience with GMP manufacturing, automation systems, and process engineering.
- Strong technical writing and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for GMP manufacturing equipment and automation systems.
- Lead investigations, CAPAs, change controls, and equipment lifecycle activities.
- Support tech transfers, new product introductions, and readiness planning.
- Develop dashboards and analytics to improve process visibility and performance.
