Textron in Hunt Valley, MD is seeking a Pricing & Estimating Senior Manager to lead the department, develop pricing proposals for government and commercial opportunities, and mentor staff.

You will coordinate with cross-functional teams, ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS/CAS, perform financial analyses, and manage deadlines. The role demands strong leadership, analytical skills, and experience in aerospace/defense pricing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in business, finance, math, accounting, or related field.
• 10 years of related pricing/estimating/government contracting experience.
• Working knowledge of FAR, DFARS and CAS.
• In-depth knowledge of DCAA/DCMA.
• Aerospace/defense industry experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Excellent analytical and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and mentor pricing teams for government and commercial proposals.
• Plan and manage multiple pricing projects with strict timelines.
• Analyze cost proposals, BOMs, labor and procurement data.
• Negotiate with customers to ensure current and complete cost data.
• Coordinate pricing with BD, PM, contracts, finance, engineering and manufacturing.
• Prepare financial analyses for management reviews.
