Job summary

AMD is seeking a Senior Manager for Platform Field Engineering in the Data Center Platform Engineering Group. You will lead a team responsible for server- and rack-level hardware and firmware debug during customer bring-up and early deployment, coordinating with ODM partners and AMD engineering.

You’ll guide technical direction, develop talent, drive root-cause analysis, and manage escalations across global teams while balancing customer success with product readiness and manufacturing feedback.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Master's degree in a related technical field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and mentor a team of customer-facing debug engineers across server and rack-level HW/FW debug.
• Drive root-cause analysis and establish clear status with executives and customers.
• Own debug status tracking, prioritization, and cross-functional coordination across design, validation, and manufacturing.
• Support HW/FW failure triage during ODM factory build and EVT/DVT/PVT gates.
