Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) seeks a Systems Debug Engineer to join the Server Customer Engineering team. You will drive accurate, scalable debug solutions for customer failures in RAS, PCIe, Memory, MCA, and CXL, enabling rapid root-cause resolution.

You'll collaborate with global AMD groups, provide validation guidance for new features, and utilize debugging tools to deliver high-quality silicon and system fixes for production SOC programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s in computer engineering or computer science or electrical engineering.
• Experience with hardware/software debug across SOC bring-up and validation.
• Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages for debugging automation.

Responsibilities

• Drive customer issues to closure on RAS, PCIe, Memory, MCA, and CXL.
• Collaborate with global AMD teams to identify robust solutions.
• Provide validation and debug recommendations for new features.
• Use protocol analyzers, SCAN and JTAG tools to narrow root causes.
