Job summary

Cook County Health in Chicago seeks a Senior Manager of Physician Revenue Cycle to ensure accurate charge capture and proper physician documentation for professional revenue. You will lead day-to-day revenue cycle operations, collaborate with Revenue Cycle leadership, and optimize workflows to enhance patient experience.

The role requires strong analytics, leadership, and project management skills, with travel to multiple ACHN sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, health administration, or finance is required.
• Five (5) years of Revenue Cycle experience in financial management for an integrated health system is required.
• Two (2) years supervisory/managerial experience is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Must be able to travel to Ambulatory and Community Health Network and Cook County Health work sites.

Responsibilities

• Manages the day-to-day activities of the revenue cycle staff across the Ambulatory & Community Health Network (ACHN).
• Provides periodic reports to senior leadership on revenue cycle metrics to drive process changes and revenue.
• Monitors and oversees front-end improvements across ACHN clinics to achieve performance goals.
• Partners with CCH operations management to review facility-wide financial and operational metrics.
• Collaborates with other CCH departments on related projects and inter-departmental operations.
