Job summary

Extend is seeking a Senior Manager, People Operations to scale our people programs and partner with the VP of People. This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution to support organizational design, performance management, enablement, and data-driven HR operations.

You will mentor the People team, lead cross-functional initiatives, and drive engagement and retention across a fast-growing technology company. Strong collaboration and execution skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience in people-focused roles at high-growth technology companies.
• Experience coaching and influencing executives and senior leaders.
• Experience leading company-wide talent initiatives including performance management and leadership development.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Exceptional business judgment balancing employee advocacy with business needs.
• Strong project management with multiple priorities.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and building programs from the ground up.
• Collaborative, low-ego approach with hands-on mindset.

Responsibilities

• Partner with executive leaders on organizational design and workforce planning.
• Own HR processes with a data-driven lens and explore AI/automation opportunities.
• Develop and execute internal communications for People programs across the company.
• Lead performance management, talent reviews, compensation planning, and career development.
• Coach managers through employee relations, performance conversations, and change.
• Drive People initiatives to improve engagement, learning, retention, and manager effectiveness.
• Develop scalable manager enablement programs and resources.
• Analyze People metrics and cross-functional initiatives to improve collaboration and work processes.
• Mentor the People Team and establish best practices as the company grows.
