Job summary

Health Payment Systems, Inc. (HPS/PayMedix) is seeking a Manager of Financial Operations & Payments to lead the day-to-day money movement, settlements, and reconciliation across HPS, PayMedix, and TempoPay.

The role partners with Finance, Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Customer Operations to scale operations and improve controls. Reporting to the COO, this hybrid role in Milwaukee or fully remote offers broad responsibility for automation, vendor relationships, and enterprise-wide

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in payments operations, fintech, banking, or payments infrastructure.
• Deep expertise in ACH, card payments, settlement, reconciliation, ledgering, end-to-end money movement.
• Proven ability to own and scale payment operations in high-volume environments.

Responsibilities

• Own the operational lifecycle of payment processing across HPS, PayMedix, and TempoPay, including settlement activities, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Establish and own collections operations strategy and vendor management to drive operational excellence.
• Define SLAs with payment processors and banks, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvements.
• Develop dashboards and KPIs, partnering with Product, Engineering, Finance, Compliance and leadership.
