Onto Innovation in Milpitas seeks a Sr. Manager of Systems Engineering to guide the full life cycle of our metrology tools, driving productization and platform development while interfacing with marketing, manufacturing, and R&D. The role requires a Ph.D., 5–10 years in semiconductor capital equipment, and travel up to 25%. The team leads system engineers to ensure reliability and accelerate new product introductions.

Qualifikationen

• Ph.D. degree in optical engineering, physics, EE or related disciplines.
• 5–10 years of experience in semiconductor capital equipment.
• Travel expectations up to 25%.

Aufgaben

• Provide engineering leadership on the physics, optimization, and technical problem solving for Mueller matrix spectroscopic ellipsometer technology.
• Lead a group of systems engineers to drive productization of Onto Innovation’s next generation OCD Spectroscopic Ellipsometer Metrology Systems.
• Drive development of new technology platforms for the next generation of optical metrology products.
• Demonstrate cross functional leadership with marketing, customer facing groups, manufacturing, service, and R&D.
