Job summary

Onto Innovation in Hillsboro, OR seeks a Senior Manager of Systems Engineering to lead the physics, optimization, and problem solving for our Mueller matrix spectroscopic ellipsometer technology across the product lifecycle. You will guide a team of systems engineers to drive productization of the next generation OCD metrology systems.

You will collaborate across marketing, manufacturing, service, and R&D, oversee NPI and customer qualification for high-volume adoption, and manage supplier

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in optical engineering, physics, EE or other relevant disciplines.
• 5-10 years of experience in semiconductor capital equipment industry.
• Through knowledge of spectroscopy, ellipsometry and reflectometry metrology techniques.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering leadership on physics, optimization, and technical problem solving for Mueller matrix spectroscopic ellipsometer technology.
• Lead a group of systems engineers to drive productization of next-generation OCD Spectroscopic Ellipsometer Metrology Systems.
• Drive development of new technology platforms for the next generation of optical metrology products.
• Demonstrate cross-functional leadership with marketing, customer facing groups, manufacturing, service, and R&D.
• Drive NPI and customer qualification processes for high-volume manufacturing adoption.
• Interface with suppliers for critical components such as light sources, lasers/modulators, and detectors.
