Job summary

Harvard University, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, is seeking a Manager of Non-Sponsored Funds to lead financial operations for the non-sponsored funds portfolio, including endowments and designated funds. You will supervise the team and ensure donor terms and university policies are met.

The role collaborates with departments and central offices, develops reporting, and designs financial training while advancing compliance and efficiency in fund management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum of 7 years’ relevant work experience.
• Supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial operations and planning for the FAS non-sponsored funds portfolio.
• Serve as primary point of contact for non-sponsored funds and coordinate with departments and central offices.
• Supervise the Non-Sponsored Funds team and manage the lifecycle of a fund, including creation, terms, audits and donor relations.
• Identify operational challenges and implement solutions related to the management of non-sponsored funds.
