Job summary

Mt. Hood Community College is seeking a senior leader to plan, design, implement, and evaluate Head Start and Early Head Start programs across multiple sites. You will base decisions on data, Head Start standards, and MHCC policies, and you will manage budgets and staff training.

The role directs managers and early learning staff, aligns curricula with policy, and partners with college leadership to advance equity, quality, and outcomes for children across locations.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience managing an early childhood program.
• At least two years of supervision experience.
• Experience with data-driven decision making, grant implementation, and budget administration.

Responsibilities

• Directs, supervises, and evaluates the performance and duties of Managers to ensure alignment across sites.
• Trains, mentors, and develops managers in leadership, supervision, and staff accountability.
• Designs and coordinates agency-wide professional development to ensure staff credentials are maintained.
• Gathers, analyzes, and interprets child assessment data and program outcomes to guide decisions.
