Job summary

McKinstry is seeking a Senior Manager, Manufacturing Operations in Austin, TX to lead day-to-day operations of modular product facilities. You’ll drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets across value streams, partnering across Engineering, Quality, Finance and Supply Chain.

You will champion lean methodologies, develop a high-performing team, and ensure scalable, predictable manufacturing outcomes in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in manufacturing/related field.
• 8+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership, with 3+ years at a production facility.
• Deep knowledge of lean, quality systems, and continuous improvement tools.
• Experience reducing TRIR and managing safety programs.
• Strong financial acumen including cost variance analysis and P&L familiarity.
• Proficiency with ERP/MES systems and MS Office; excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of assigned value streams to meet safety, quality, schedule, and cost targets.
• Set operational direction and coordinate with Manufacturing Eng, QA, Finance, and Supply Chain.
• Drive continuous improvement using lean/kaizen methods across all lines.
• Build and coach a high-performing manufacturing team with succession planning.
