Position Summary...

As a Senior Manager of Strategic Partnerships for Sam’s Club Member Access Platform (MAP), you will lead high-impact partner relationships that accelerate business growth and enhance MAP’s value to advertisers and members. This role combines strong partnership execution with forward-looking strategy—driving scalable collaboration with data, media, measurement, and technology partners, while helping shape how those partnerships fuel MAP’s product and business roadmap. You’ll work cross-functionally to turn ideas into execution, influencing both short-term results and long-term innovation.

About Member Access Platform (MAP)

Sam’s Club MAP is an ad tech startup inside Walmart, building a retail media and experience network to engage members at the right moment using transaction data.

What you’ll do…
  • Build and manage strategic partner relationships with data, media, ad tech, measurement, and media companies.
  • Identify, assess, and onboard new partners to support MAP’s growth strategy.
  • Ensure successful onboarding, product integration, and go-to-market alignment for partners.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Legal to shape partnership strategies and operations.
  • Support deal structuring, success metrics, and performance management.
  • Represent MAP externally at industry events and partner engagements.
What you’ll bring…
  • 6–8+ years in strategic partnerships, business development, or partner-facing roles in digital advertising, retail media, or technology.
  • Experience managing external relationships with influence and negotiation skills.
  • Proven success in launching partner solutions from planning to execution.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with results-oriented focus.
  • Strategic thinking with attention to detail and executional excellence.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field; MBA preferred.
