Beehive Industries in Loveland, OH, seeks a Senior Manager, Mechanical Analysis to lead a small team focused on mechanical stress, life estimation, and rotor dynamics vibration analysis for turbomachinery components. The role emphasizes technical leadership and cross-functional collaboration in a defense-focused environment.

You will mentor engineers, drive schedules, and oversee analysis methods while ensuring compliance with industry standards and program requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college.
• At least 15+ years of experience in gas turbine component design.
• Experience managing people is desired.
• Experience with stress and finite element analysis using ANSYS Workbench.
• Strong understanding of CAD/ANSYS and design software tools.
• Experience with additive manufacturing technologies and design for additive manufacturing.
• Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Passion for additive technology and pushing design limits.
• Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Proven problem solving and program leadership abilities.
• Self-starter who works well in fast-paced cross-functional teams.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise in mechanical stress, life estimation, and rotor dynamics analysis while leading a small analytics team.
• Plan, estimate, and track work across subsystems to align with aggressive product delivery schedules.
• Mentor engineers in technical development and oversee methods/standards for consistent results.
• Review test objectives, instrumentation, data requirements, and plans for component validation.
• Collaborate with systems, program management, and additive manufacturing teams to develop schedules.
• Support design reviews across disciplines and ensure durability while balancing trade-offs.
• Document technical data per engineering best practices and standards.
• Contribute to R&D of additive design methodologies and exploit additive manufacturing benefits.
