Job summary

Beehive Industries in Centennial, CO or Cincinnati, OH seeks a Principal Engineer to lead rotordynamics design, analysis, and development of jet engines and rigs. You will partner with cross-functional teams to deliver rotor and structural designs using additive technologies.

The role starts as an individual contributor in a dynamic startup environment with growth toward leadership. Strong analytical and communication skills are required to optimize performance and ensure thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in gas turbine rotordynamics.
• Proficient in rotordynamics software such as Dyrobes, XLRotor, or OEM codes.
• Experience with ANSYS Workbench for structural and vibration analysis.
• Strong CAD/CAE tools proficiency.
• Additive manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead rotordynamics analysis for new jet engines and rigs.
• Develop test plans including instrumentation and data analysis.
• Lead design reviews and coordinate with design, controls, and manufacturing.
• Advise on additive design and exploitation of additive manufacturing.
• Scale design capability and foster startup-style execution.
• Document technical data following engineering best practices.
