Job summary

Novonesis, located in Franklinton, NC, seeks a Senior Manager to lead Market Strategy & Portfolio Management for North America Animal. You will set regional strategy, drive growth initiatives, and lead pricing and cross-functional collaborations to optimize profitability across beef, dairy, silage, swine, poultry, and pets.

The role requires 12+ years in animal health or nutrition, with proven leadership and strategic marketing experience, and a passion for shaping investments and market

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Agriculture, Business, Marketing, or related field.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in animal nutrition/animal health or related industry.
• Previous people leadership experience guiding commercial or marketing teams.
• Experience in strategic marketing, portfolio management, and pricing decisions.
• Proven ability to develop growth strategies and influence senior leaders.
• Strong knowledge across beef, dairy, silage, swine, poultry and companion animals.
• Experience leading price initiatives and product commercialization efforts.
• Excellent analytical and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Ability to lead through influence in a matrix, cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

• Set NA market and portfolio strategy across key livestock and pet segments.
• Lead regional marketing team and budget, translating strategy to priorities.
• Serve as senior strategic partner on commercial leadership decisions.
• Own portfolio performance using market and financial insights to guide investments.
• Identify growth opportunities, white spaces, and new segments.
• Shape commercial strategy for priority product launches with cross-functional teams.
• Guide pricing strategy and major customer negotiations.
• Represent NA in regional/global forums influencing priorities.
