Job summary

Oracle US in Houston, TX, seeks a Senior Manager of Manufacturing Process Engineering to lead process-engineering initiatives that boost quality, efficiency, safety, and cost performance. You will manage a team of engineers and partner with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Design Engineering, and external manufacturers to develop, optimize, and scale reliable production processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, Manufacturing, or related engineering discipline; advanced degree preferred.
• 8–12 years of progressive experience in manufacturing or process engineering, including 3+ years of people-management or technical-mentorship experience.
• Experience supporting manufacturing operations across multiple products, production lines, sites, or external manufacturing partners.
• Demonstrated record of leading measurable process-improvement, yield, cost, quality, or capacity projects.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Execution & Process Leadership: Translate strategy into site-level execution plans and drive standardization and optimization.
• Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement: Use Lean/Six Sigma to eliminate bottlenecks and improve yield, throughput, and OEE.
• Technology & Manufacturing Readiness: Evaluate and implement improvements, tooling, and digital-manufacturing solutions.
• Operational Excellence & Quality: Ensure processes meet quality, regulatory, environmental, and safety requirements.
• People Leadership & Development: Build and coach a high-performing team and foster continuous learning.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Quality, and Design Engineering.
