Job summary

Oracle in Austin, Texas seeks a Manufacturing Process Engineer to develop, qualify, and sustain manufacturing processes delivering quality, yield, throughput, and safety. You will collaborate with Operations, Quality, Design Engineering, and external partners in a hands-on, execution-focused role.

The role emphasizes process development, improvement, and scale-up with ownership of documentation, change control, and KPI monitoring.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related engineering.
  • 5+ years in manufacturing or process engineering with measurable improvements.
  • Experience with new-product introduction, process transfer, or scale‑up preferred.
  • Expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, and data-driven problem solving.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, document, and qualify manufacturing processes, work instructions, process parameters, fixtures, tooling, and control plans for new and existing products.
  • Analyze manufacturing data to identify opportunities to improve yield, throughput, cycle time, labor efficiency, quality, and OEE.
  • Lead structured root‑cause analysis and corrective‑action activities for process‑related defects and bottlenecks.
  • Support new-product introduction, process transfer, and ramp activities with readiness plans.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Design Engineering, Supply Chain, and external partners to ensure readiness and capabilities.
