Prosper is seeking a Senior Manager of Loan Operations to optimize and modernize our loan verification process, moving toward automated workflows. You will lead teams in Phoenix and San Francisco and oversee vendor partnerships to scale processing capacity without headcount growth.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years of leadership in financial services or FinTech, experience managing managers, and a strong track record in automation, data-driven decision making, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive operational leadership experience in financial services, FinTech, or lending.
• Experience managing other managers and distributed teams.
• Hands-on experience supervising outsourced vendors or external processing partners with metric accountability and SLAs.
• Strong ability to identify, evaluate, and implement automation solutions (AI/OCR).
• Ability to communicate clearly and align teams with leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead optimization of Loan Operation workflows and drive automation for a scalable, low-friction operation.
• Mentor and develop Loan Operations teams in Phoenix and San Francisco; oversee vendor partnerships.
• Expand processing capacity with KPI-driven planning; avoid headcount expansion where possible.
• Use workflow data and quality metrics to guide operational decisions.
• Direct vendor performance with strict accountability and measurable outcomes.
