Job summary

Yahoo Sports is seeking a Manager of Design & Graphics Operations to lead the design and execution of live graphics across its digital programming portfolio. The role combines creative design with technical know-how in live graphics systems, data integration, and production workflows to elevate storytelling and sponsorship integration across Yahoo platforms.

Qualifications

Significant experience in graphic design and live or digital video production.
Advanced knowledge of live graphics systems (Flowics, Tagboard, or comparable).
Strong proficiency in motion graphics, animation, and visual storytelling.
Experience using AI-assisted creative tools to speed workflows and ensure brand alignment.
Experience working with live data, dynamic graphics, and data-driven visuals.
Coding, programming, data structures, or APIs related to live graphics.

Responsibilities

Lead design and evolution of Yahoo Sports live show graphics packages and visual standards.
Design and produce custom in-show graphics, animations, lower thirds, and data visualizations.
Own Flowics graphics: programming, maintenance, and live-ops support across Yahoo programming.
Develop AI-driven efficiencies for automated graphics updates and data mapping.
Collaborate with producers, editors, engineers, and sales to integrate sponsorships and data-driven elements.
Provide reliable graphics support during live productions and tentpole events.
